Acually, a great straightner I use for my hair is revlon brand %26amp; it is only 20$!

Good luck.

Hair straightnersss??

GHDs are by far the best, they work on curly hair, so I see no reason why they won;t work on wavy :)

You shouldn't use a hair straigtener or curler often. It damages your hair and makes it dry.

I haven't seen the one on TV so I can't really help you there. But you know how it looks like so take a look on the following site: http://www.conair.com/hair-styling-irons...

Conair's hair straighteners have good prices for them depending on the quality of the hair straighteners. Take a look at them all.

I hope you find the one you're looking for!

if you want straight hair you have to put some sort of straightening and heat protection creme in your hair... and also you have to blow dry your hair straight first.

then part your hair into small sections and work slowly to get best results. i have a basic straightener from conair (one i got from walmart) that works just fine. you just have to go slow.

if you want a really good, but expensive one, then try a chi flat iron

i have a straightener and it makes my hair PIN straight...it was cheap only $60 and i got it from Sallys beauty supply...i use it on all of my clients hair and its calle "Jilbere de Paris" it heats up in less than 1 minute and its over 400*....also...sallys beauty supply has a straightener right now and its on sale for 60$ and its compared to CHI which is one of the BEST straighteners around! it comes in purple green blue and pink i believe!....well good luck!

Well personally I find CHIs to be overrated. They just arent very reliable. I have used many over the years, but my favorite is the Paul Brown Hawaii, it makes the hair so smooth and soft. But, my friend swears by the Farouk. Just personal preferences I suppose. I bought mine at a supply store, but you can find both of those at folica.com

And actually, there are two key components to good achieve good straightening results A) having a good iron %26amp; B) using good product. I like to use Redken Straightening Balm and Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide. Those two will give you an amazing smooth look %26amp; provide some thermal protection.

the maxiglide. I bought it off the Tv.

I think you might find it if you google it

The best flat iron that we use at my salon is Chi. Be sure to always use a flat iron spray before, Matrix Vavoom Gold Heat Iron In Control or Design Line Get It Pressed (found only in Regis owned salons) are both excellent and will protect the hair up to 450 degrees.

CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

Curling with a Sedu:

Flipping hair with a Sedu:

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

52 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1077 total reviews.

Sedu:

20 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3675 total reviews.

That speaks for itself.
