Growing out hair?

I had my hair cut really short, and now i'm trying to grow it to my shoulders. Any tips for the "in between" stages? It is naturally curly and my curls are starting to show and stick out and it is driving me nuts...other than washing it everyday (which my stylist said you aren't supposed to do because it takes out the nutrients in your hair which your hair needs) are there any products or tips that you can recommend that won't make my hair feel gunky or sticky after a long day? Thanks!!

Use coconut oil, its a healthy moisturizer for your hair and in three months, your hair should be the lenth you want and tehn afterwards,, style it! You can get coconut oil online or at an Indian community or a local health store. Also, trim every 6 weeks, just a little trim to keep deaad ends off

washing it every 2nd day is usually the norm.

The best thing is if you feel its sticky is to buy Dry Shampoo in a can, and spray it on your hiar when it doesnt feel nice.

they can be boguht in most chemists.

as for inbetween stages, just keep your hair practical and neat. Pletny of hair clips!

Somebody have given you a wrong message. In India in the state of kerala almost all the ladies have a head bath and wash their hair everyday and do you know that they have the best hair growth and the best nourished hair . The nutrients are supposed to be inside the scalp and blood and not outside. If you do not wash the hair regularly it will be filled up by dust and bacteria leading to dandruff and skin diseases. Eat plenty of green vegetables, fruits and regularly wash your head and apply very lightly only boiled and cooled coconut oil thats all you will grow a perfect and long hair.

Truth is, it doesn't matter how many times you wash your hair (i wash mine twice most days) as long as it suits your hair type... But you've gotta condition. If you have oily hair feel free to wash it til its norm. :) It'll be all good... I personally think clips are daggy, but if you think they're hot some people can look super-cute with them in. BTW, i'm very jealous of your curly hair... I'm dead straight

I went through that once, who hasn't. Try damping your hair down and cutting the legs off a pair of tights put the top of the tights, the panty part, on your head at night it will take the poof out of it. Also when it gets a little bit longer pull the front up, alla Jennifer Anniston and it takes some of the weight off the sides, you can then straighten what is left on the sides.
