About 10 years ago there was a history show on cable hosted by a Briton with glasses and bushy, gray hair. He would start off talking about some small invention, that led to another invention, etc., until it lead to some surprisingly and seemingly unrelated event/invention. It was a sort of "connect the dots" sort of show...I can't think of the name of it. Anyone remember?
