my hair is soft to touch but looks dull and lifeless. can you please suggest some ways how i can make my hair straight soft and shiny. also i want each strand to be seperate like they show on tv..... is there any good product? i dont want to know names of brands but names of products... like hair serum... please help......

Try smoothing shampoos and conditioners. That's what my hair dresser uses on my naturally wavy hair before straightening. She says it helps and prevents the heat from damaging it.

uhh just play around with it, sometimes using hairspray works but don't use to much. Or use Aussie Foam.. =D

try showering and then letting it dry in a medium (not loose or not tihgt) ponytail (thats not to high or not to low) haha i feel like goldilocks

anyway, my hair is like yours and it gets like frizzy if i let it dry down, but if i put some like curling spray in it, and then let it dry completley in a ponytail, it has pretty nice waves, and usually that "bump" you get from wearing a ponytail isn't apparent.

get a decent hair straightner, I have poofy wavy hair that I hate to, I just straighten it...the hair straightner makes it straight, super shiny, and soft. I also use Victoria's Secret Hair Serum, it's about $12 and it works great! it smells really good too!

I had hair like urs and i got it chemically straightened using Rusk straightner ($100 incl. cut) and it has done wonders for my hair. I also use an Iron. The one I use is called T3 Tourmaline Wet/Dry Iron. I find that tourmaline irons make ur hair extremly shiny and silky, and creates that separate strand look. As far as products, I use Redken Heat Glide Serum, all this makes my hair incredible looking everyday. U dont need to get it chemically done if u get that flat iron, it will look the same.

oh also, for after u style, if ur hair feels a little dry, sebastion potion nine helps, its just like a cream, it really helps.

for me the ghd hair straightener is the best product for magically straightening hair!!! but very expensive 180 euro which is about....250 dollars.

there are loads of cheap straightners that do a good job too.

don bother spending too much time blow drying...let the straightner do the work. use a hairbrush and straighten small amounts of hair at a time. repeat each piece at least 2/3 times.

finishing serum...its got to be ghd serum available in hair salons. its amazing.

seriously tho, i think straighteneing hair is going out, curling is soming in. all the stars now have wavy/curly hair. if ur hair is wavy it will curl well. get a cheap curler, and some firm hair spray.

You can go to a salon and get your hair straightened, and then you can buy a hair iron. You can buy different shampoos and conditioners to make it soft, or give it volume. Good luck!

jojoba oil (put a dab of this in you hair and mix it in) it works great

Have you look into japanese hair straightening. The process is a little expensive about $300 but it last for up to a 1 1/2 years. Your hair will be shiny, silky and smooth
