I use manic panic on my bleached hair and I don't wash it for a week and I don't use any heat on it, why does it fade so quickly?
I'm starting to believe that doing this to my hair was one of the most stupid things Ive ever done... it majorly damaged my hair, it's hard to keep up, it looks horrible because the colors fade so quickly and my roots are starting to show. Its so hard to keep up, and Im not rich D:
Why does my hair dye fade in less than a week???
Perhaps because you're in the sunlight too much. I wondered the same thing how, when I rarely wash my hair and don't touch it with heat, it fades in two weeks. Then I realized: hello, I eat lunch outside in the sun everyday. They make sunscreen for hair. I'd try a place like Sally. It really helped me. My hair is currently dyed Vampire Red (Manic Panic) and has been so for six weeks now. And I didn't even bleach first...

Make sure you are buying permanent hair color and not temporary hair color. There is a huge difference.

Why does my hair dye fade in less than a week???
well, if its temporary hair it will only stay for so long especially if its home done. why dont you try goin to a professional.
Why does my hair dye fade in less than a week???
Because it's Manic Panic? It's not a permanent dye. And even permanent dye won't stay forever. Usually, although of course it depends on your base color, black dye stays in the longest, then blonde, then red. I don't have any experience with the nontraditional colors like pink or blue or anything, but I'd assume they'd work the same as red dye and come out pretty quickly.
Why does my hair dye fade in less than a week???
.it has probably to do with the fact that manic panic makes semi-permanent haircolors and semi permanent only. It fades out eventually (and actually pretty quick).
Why does my hair dye fade in less than a week???
your hair fades because you used bleach before. I bleached my hair and it looked bad so i colored it a different color and it faded in less than a week. You have to keep on coloring it. Remember don't color it a lot of times in a month.
Why does my hair dye fade in less than a week???
Your hair might not be porus enough to hold the dye for more than a few washes. Try a different kind of dye like Goldwell or N Rage on your bleached hair before you give up. Manic Panic makes a color-boosting shampoo that might help you keep you color a bit longer, too.

you really do need to make sure you are not buying temporally hair dye that might be y or it could be ur not washing your hair for a week but if it still makes a mess i would strongly advise you to stop dyeing your hair cos it will damage your hair badly and you would regret it even more

Why does my hair dye fade in less than a week???
you bleached your hair and that might be the reason why the color fades quickly. never bleach hair if your hair is a dark color just put on a very light color blonde. tip there are really good hair dyes that have no amonia and does not damage hair i really recommend loreal.
as for your roots showing up quickly that is something you really can't stop that just means that you hair grows quick.

what i think is that your hair can not hold the color and yes it will fade using a wash is alot better because u get the color u want but it comes out in 6 months and u just do it over its much healtheyer to your hair and if that dont work go to a hair salon and ask them they will have a soulution.

do not use clarifying shampoo--not only does it strip the hair of styling product build-up, but also removes any hair color too!
